In all seriousness, Taos, I appreciate the sentiment, but I do not need or want outside validation or approbation. The thread title was self-deprecating. (dang, look at all those big words! yay, me!)

Ok... wow, this has to be like one of the best storys ever. 5 Hours, and nothing comes of it? What the hell is the protocol for Kansas cops? "After 5 hours, if he doesn't leave, we knock at the door?"

And what the hell, we have military equipment that can watching me pee from space but these guys can't get any equipment to trace heat signals inside?

Would this be the chief of police?

Because otherwise, wow. They did manage to accompish a few things though, the guy now knows that he shouldn't go home, that would be a bad idea, and also it let the locals know that if they are ever in any danger, odds are they are fucked.

Hutchinson CC had some players recruited by Bob Huggins in the prime of his run at UC. No meth, CCI just a little hip lingo for the kids. I need to provide some props reference to keep the fans of basketball pre 2005 on the board
