I hated American Idol although my wife and daughter were addicted to it.

I am now addicted to Rock Star Supernova. The damned house band rocks better than any band that I've heard. Plus, it's a freak show with some of the contestants! How disfunctional must my family be that our idea of family time is that my wife, 8 year old daughter, 4 year old son and I watch it together religiously?

I like Rockstar: Supernova a lot. I hope Lukas doesn't win it. He's an arrogant bastard and I can't understand him when he's grunting out the lyrics.

Personally, I hope Magni wins it. After my year in that beautiful country, I root for anything Icelandic. I was rooting for them in the World Cup too.

I can't count the things I'd do to Dana. She's hot.

I only saw a bit last night, but Ryan and Storm had good performances. Dana sure is hot, but she's still too pretty and innocent to lead a rock group.

Uh....Tommy Lee and Jason Newstead were in a couple of outfits called Motley Crue and Metallica.......do you really think the house band kicks the ass of Shout at the Devil or And Justice For All.....i watch the show sometimes b/c Brooke Burke is hot as hell, and I like to laugh at the contestants.....the reason the show sucks balls musically,IMO, is because the songs are all familiar retreads that require no originality of the singers, nor are what the Supernova band would really sound like-I really doubt a band w/ Tommy Lee and Jason Newsted would have a chick singing "Everybody Hurts" or "White Rabbit". Have them cover some Pantera or old Motley Crue, or let them pick some original stuff....FWIW, Jason Newsted's real new band sounds like a Phish-type/prog rock kind of outfit-not something most soccer moms (or myself particularly) would get into.....

I meant that the house band sounds better than any other HOUSE band,

Sounds like you're not a fan...guess you won't be watching.

Its a great show.....and my guilty pleasure within the giant guilty pleasure that is Rock Star is Zyera....I don't care if she is right for the band or not, The chick's nuts...flat out crazy and I think its fun to watch...I hope they keep her around
