    COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State and Illinois meet this weekend in a four-game set at Bill Davis Stadium that will conclude Ohio State?s 2008 Big Ten home schedule. The Buckeyes are 24-21 overall, 11-12 and in fourth place in the Big Ten Conference. The Illini are 28-18 overall and are sitting in third place in the Big Ten with a 14-10 record.

    COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State won two of three games Saturday against Illinois at Bill Davis Stadium as the Buckeyes celebrate 125 years of baseball this weekend.
    Ohio State is now 27-22 overall and 13-13 in the Big Ten. Illinois is 29-20 and 15-12 in conference play.
    Prior to the start of Friday night's game, the Ohio State athletic department honored head coach Bob Todd for his pending induction into the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He will be inducted in January of 2009. The game was suspended due to heavy rain in the bottom of the seventh inning, with Illinois leading, 7-2.

    COLUMBUS, Ohio - Heavy rains throughout the morning and tornado warnings in the early afternoon, plus the threat of additional heavy rain, has forced the cancellation of the game Sunday between Ohio State and Illinois at Bill Davis Stadium. The game will not be made up.
    Illinois won the first game of the series, 9-4, and Ohio State came back to win games two and three by scores of 9-2 and 14-8, respectively.
