Illinois -4.5 at Purdue (ov/un 47.5) Sat Noon ET, ESPN2

It seems Illinois hasn't recovered from having their undefeated delusions destroyed last weekend.

21-0 PU, 2nd

I had a feeling Illinois would come out and lose to a horrible Purdue team, thereby devaluing OSU's win last weekend. Way to go, Zook. :shake:

I know we are accustomed to being in the top ten and trying to impress voters, but when you're 4-3 the only people noticing Illinois lost the week after we beat them are us, Illinois fans, and Purdue fans.

You guys are right. I didn't mean in terms of the pollsters. Poor choice of words on my part.

Say it with me now...

Illinois is getting

ZOOKERED!!!

Twice in the second half Zook faced a 4th and 3, or 4th and 4, near midfield. Down 21-0, he punted both times, and thus he was still trailing 21-0 at the start of the 4th quarter.

When you need 3 TDs, getting into a field position punting battle in the second half makes no sense. I couldn't believe he punted the ball both times, but then I remembered who he was.
