If you had a full day in Columbus, what would you eat?

Breakfast - Nancy's in Clintonville

Lunch - Moy's Chinese on Highstreet

Dinner - Catfish Biff's Pizza

Post-drunk food - Labamba's

Next day breakfast - TeeJay's for the Barnyard Buster.

I'd be sure to updgrade the flushing power of my commode before embarking on such a diet....

With the exception of Tee Jaye's its a hell of a list.. Great thing about Moy's was that if you went in the middle of the Afternoon... the lady would give you free soup from lunch rather than throw it away along iwth whatever you ordered... and they had pretty damned good soup there, too... the steamed fish was pretty outstanding too... if you don't mind it looking at you.

I have to give you credit Tibor, that is a pretty good list. I could never possibly eat at all of those places in one day, but quality choices. I am with AKAK, I could do without the TeeJayes though. In fact, If I ate breakfast at Nancys, I could probably make it all the way to LaBamba without eating again. If I were to change any it would be this.

Breakfast: Nancys, or Chef-o-nette in Arlington

Lunch- Thai Orchid -for Pad Thai

Dinner - Bexley Monk, or Barcelona

Late Night - La Bamba - no question

Lunch- Pig Iron

Dinner- Lindy's

After Bars- Paninni (But only because no one has said it... I'd go Labamba 1a, Panini 1b and Greek Village 1c...)

Dinner was a hard choice, since during my years in Columbus, I really never cared much for good, sitdown food. Now, that I'm older (and have more money) i'd love to check out some of the overpriced swanky places in the ShortNorth area. I went to one this past weekend when I was in Columbus, but I forget the name. Pittsburgh doesn't really have any kind of place like that...or if they do, they are still populated by the Stiller hat wearing morons.

I love Moys. I went there a lot during my 8 years there. The last time I was there on my way to Cincinnati for a wedding, I got there and Mrs. Moy didn't recognize me. Then I ordered my usual and she said, "Oh, it's you! You look a lot more mature now!" I'm sure she was actually thinking, "My God, you've lost your hair!" :slappy:

That may be true, but you have Primanti Bros, and we don't.

I guess on the same line as Primanti's Thurman Burger is one I forgot about.
