    • If you have to build an offense but only allowed to use ONE position to field all other positions on your side.. what would you pick .. same for defense... you should select TWO -- one for offense and one for defense...

    Since I didn't want to make this two threads I'm going to try an experiment.. Doing two polls as one.

    No.. but that never stopped me before... We're going to make fun out of anyone that selects Offense or Defense options.. these folks will be verifying they can't read.. easy targets to pick on

    I am biased... I feel the best overall athlete on the defensive side is the LB.. he's a beefy version of your DBs and a scaled down version of the big fellas.. LBs can play every position.. IMO

    I believe the best athlete on an offense is the QB... many times stud linemen and WRs were the QB on their HS team... because they were the best overall athlete on the offense.. in general...

    WR and LB...WR because a lot of WR were former QBs...also you've got the speed aspect. Blocking would be hurt, but u'd just have to spread like 5 wide and shotgun all the time. A lot of passing.

    On defense i'd choose linebackers. At least OSU's linebackers. If you could put either AJ, Bobby, or Anthony in those positions...u'd be great. You could have an all AJ as the linebackers. Have two of Anthony in the at DTs, have two Bobby's as your DEs...and then use AJ and Bobby in coverage, maybe more AJ...but mix in Bobby every once in awhile, he's a little taller. Maybe one corner be Bobby, one be AJ..and then both safteys are definitely AJ hawk. I think we'd have a pretty sweet defense.

    OK.. new benchmark... you can't assume your ONE position is being manned by a specific individual...

    You do not get AJ Hawk at every defensive position... unbalances the poll...
    Reggie Bush at every position is also not an option...
