Are you implying that Calipari hasn't been guilty of anything?

What's Calipari guilty of?

Is it Calipari's fault that Marcus Camby had illegal dealings with an agent that the NCAA ruled Calipari had no dealings with.

Is it Calipari's fault that Derrick Rose may or may not have cheated on his SAT before the NCAA Clearinghouse ruled Rose eligible on two occasions and ruled that Calipari had no dealings with.

Yeah, Teflon John has a hell of a reputation.

Not to worry, they got Gotti too.

He's an angel, you're right.

Also, Rose would've been ineligible even if he hadn't had the issues with his SAT, because his brother was traveling with the team for free. That's not allowed.

Call me crazy for thinking Cal, the only coach in NCAA basketball history who has a final four appearance at two different schools vacated, is a little dirty.

He's done some unquestionably slimy things. He hired Dajaun Wagner's dad to a basketball position, and also hired Tyreke Evans' personal strength coach as his administrative assistant.

At Kentucky, it's being said that the Batley dude resigned for helping a player on the court illegally in a practice or something. Same guy had impermissible phone calls at both UK and Memphis.

So, you can say he's not guilty. But with that much slime around him at every school he's coached, I'm more than skeptical. Feel free to keep the blinders on, though. Sounds a lot like he has other people cheat for him to save his own ass. Pretty smart. Happens a lot in college football.

Oh yeah, he also left both Memphis and UMass the same year (but before) the dirt was punished. That's just shitty. What are your thoughts on Pete Carrol leaving USC when the shit hit the fan? That's what Cal did, twice.

Calipari has been ruled innocent by the NCAA and it seems you call him a cheater and slimy....well then what does that make Jim Tressel?

Your strange new world frightens me, and I don't know how the magic voices get in the old brick shaped box.......but one thing I do know - I was in before the ban!

I like how you didn't even respond to anything I said. Always a good indicator of who is right and who is wrong. JT has nothing to do with the discussion, but you bring him up because you have nothing else to say.

Why? Because I'm right, and you know it. Why do you know it? Because most of what I said wasn't even my opinion. It was true.

Question - who are the only people who think Coach Cal is a clean coach? UK fans, and the fans for the next school he'll coach at when he leaves Kentucky for someone else's wrongdoing. Because a coach leaving for someone else fucking up (twice) makes a lot of sense.

Also, he IS slimy. Sometimes slime isn't necessary illegal.. but it is slime. There's plenty of proof of him being a total slimy prick.

Jim Tressel hasn't left a wake of programs on probation behind him, nor has he had to vacate wins/postseason appearances, hot shot.

But, this is not Jim Tressel's thread. He doesn't coach basketball at Kentucky or UConn. If you want to discuss him, I suggest you head over to his thread.

Jim Tressel has a lot to do with this discussion...

You're willing to point at other teams coaches and how they "cheated" while it's happening at Ohio State and the NCAA has deemed them guilty, but I don't know...I'm getting the vibe that maybe you think it's okay if it happens at your favorite program?

Frankly your post didn't warrant a reply, but if you want one then:

Okay, Calipari hired recruits parents and strength coaches to his staff...don't really see how that is a problem. Wagner's dad and Evans's strength coach might be the best in the business at what they do, don't really see how it's "dirty" regardless, it isn't against the rules and any other team could have done it if they wanted to. My thoughts on Carrol leaving before the sh*t hit the fan are that an NFL team cam offering him some big dough, I would have left too. Sometimes it's a case of wrong place, wrong time.
