The Big Ten Championship game is tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Fox (Time Warner Columbus/Delaware 1008).

Ohio State finished out the regular season last week in spectacular fashion, defeating the Wolverines 42-13. Michigan State went on to beat Penn State, however, winning the Big Ten East, meaning the Buckeyes don't get to play today. Just because we aren't playing, though, doesn't mean that there isn't plenty of reason to stay glued to your TV today.

When and where is the B1G Championship, and how can I watch?

As always, the game will be played in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.

How do the two teams look?

This is a big one, folks. The No. 4 Iowa Hawkeyes are undefeated this season, while the No. 5 Spartans are 11-1, their lone loss coming a month ago to Nebraska. The winner of this game will almost certainly have a spot in the College Football Playoff.

So what's next for Ohio State? Is the dream dead?

The Buckeyes are probably headed to a regular bowl game, though our fate is not as sealed as some haters would like.

So you're saying there's a CHANCE.

There is a chance, yes. A lot of it depends on how much #MADNESS we see today. The winner of the Big Ten Championship will get one of the spots. That's practically a given. Let's look at the other three spots, though. No. 1 Clemson is facing No. 10 North Carolina. Clemson will probably win, but what if they don't? Do the Tar Heels leap all the way to the top? And what about No. 2 Alabama vs. No. 18 Florida? The Gators lost last week to Florida State 27-2. No, that's not a typo. They scored 2 points. Clemson is undefeated, but mighty Bama has already lost this season, to then-ranked No. 15 Ole Miss. If Florida wins, they can't possibly jump from near the bottom to the top, right? And then there's Oklahoma, who doesn't even play today. They won the Big 12 last week, so they, like us, just get to watch today, with no chance to make a statement to the committee. Plus, they lost earlier in the season to Texas. The same Texas that wrapped up the season 4-7, only managing to beat Rice, Kansas, Kansas State, and the Sooners.

So, if one of the top two lose, do we get to move up? Or what if they both win, but they don't do it impressively? Yes, the Selection Committee really likes conference champions, but there's no rule that says they have to pick them. The Buckeyes still have a pretty decent case. Their one loss was to a top-five team, one that may end up in the Playoff. They showed last week the ability to rebound after a loss with impressive results. Plus, Urban Meyer has shown the ability to coach his teams through difficulties. (Does the 2014 Buckeyes team ring any bells?)

So who knows what will happen? No one does, and that's why we love it. This is March December Madness, people. Don't miss a second of it.
