BB73 closed out a "demise of the BCS thread" rather abruptly with a line, "There are plenty of other BCS threads... use the search engine..."

I don't know Wappa Goo from Charlie Weiss (and frankly, there's much to suggest they're one in the same) but I do know that the search engine is a place of great mystery and has yet to yield much of anything of value for youse truly. So, ignoramus that I am, I went to the college football forum, clicked on search, spotted my cursor in the top box and typed in "BCS." Here for all to see and be enlightened are the results:

Now, this is similar to what I consistently find when I use the 'search' function and I contend that it's damn near worthless... and yeah I've done the advance buttons and key words and still come up with what constitutes nothing of use and so I go ahead and post a new thread and get told that there's another thread under a similar title. So maybe some ideas from those of you who know how to get the search function to give you what you need to know would be in order and as for Wappa Goo, is that anything like Wapakonetta?
 
At the top of the page, you should see a string of words: Home Forums User CP Blogs FAQ Members List New Posts Search Quick Links

Click on Search, a drop down appears
In the first text box, type what you want to search for.
Check "Search Titles Only"
Click Go

Tada
