How much of a difference: Back of A deck -or- front of C?

maxx

Newbie
Looking at tickets and trying to decide which is more preferable.

Understand general consensus is A for closeness to action/game feel -and- C for overall perspective. However, last row in A and first row in C 'appear' to be equidistant from field -- albeit C being higher. Just how much of a difference is there b/w the two?

Any input would be appreciated.

I'm in Section 30C, Row 1 (which is actually behind the end zone); I'd qualify the reply by saying , (A last row or C 1st row) which ever is closer to midfield.

In 2006, I got to use my sisters student ticket and was in the front row at the 40 yard line. That was an incredible seat.

My student tickets that year were front row 13C. Not far from the goal line right above the lights that were there. Incredible seats for the season and especially the Michigan game though it did preclude me from getting out on the field after that one. Got to do tha later when I was in A and AA in south stands though. Not nearly as nice seats though.

I've been in C Deck for the last 6 years. My seats are between the 35s. They change a little each year because I purchase faculty tickets. I love the view of the field up there. And yes, lower is better in C Deck.

Echo what everyone else has said, lower c deck is the bomb.

Slightly off topic, that's also why The Shoe is so bad ass; the steep angles which make the front rows of c deck some of the best seats in the house also trap sound.
