How many went golfing yesterday?

I took the day off and hit the links. Shaker Run golf course. Love that place, and played for free to boot. great day yesterday.

I went with the "golf sucks option". Does anyone remember the Lite Beer commercial, from a number of years ago, that was part of a series called "Sports We Would Like to See"? The best commercial depicted tackle golf!

Felt the need but played hookie a couple times last week

Soggy is putting it mildly. Squished with every step until you hit the green or tee box. Everything plugged as well, but was a good time and I actually played better than expected. I just really liked being able to say "It's January 12th and I'm out golfing." :) On the down side I realized I need new shoes. My feet were soaked.

I wanted to, but I didn't have my clubs and had to work till 4:30. Saw a lot of golfers out on my way home. At least I have a heated driving range about a mile from my house. I'll have to go over there sometime.
