No doubt, the referees missed the call to start with and then the league compounds it by penalizing the team because the coach made a mistake. Following that they missed a late hit on the Lions QB.

Why should that negate the replay? If the idea of replay is to get the call right then the replay should still be done, irregardless.

Schwartz acknowledged his mistake too. Right after he threw it he knew he messed up.

Kubiak had a mini brain fart running the first and goal play 4 seconds before the 2 minute warning. Had he waited, the Lions would've had to spend a time out after it.
