Wow. I didn't realize how much I had dialed back my interest in baseball. I can still rattle off the starting lineups for half the teams in the majors in 1960 - but I don't know who half those guys are.
He's my favorite. I remember hearing stories about his batting practice performances back when he was a (Devil) Ray in their farm system, as well as last season when he was playing for the Reds. I like Utley and Braun as well, though. This should be a really great competition. I thought Vlad was going to be in it?
When I made the bet, it was set up to close at 7 p.m. Central time (only mods can see that when creating/editing the vbet). For some reason, at the top of the page, it was open an hour later than that, something I didn't notice until after I placed my bets just before 8 p.m. Eastern. Since the event was set to start at 8 Eastern, I had to edit the ending time shortly after 8 p.m. to close the vBet, so bets couldn't be placed after it started.
Sorry about the glitch - I've seen it happen a couple of times before.
Edit - When I changed it to close the vbet I typed in 7 p.m. Central, but at the top of the vbet it says 2 p.m. Central.
Edit - I had to change both baseball bets for Tuesday, so they close at 8 p.m. Eastern - they had the same issue.
That one to the third deck was huge and the one looked like it was head out of the stadium but was knocked down by a fan. It's gonna be real tough for a righty to win this. Hamilton is gonna put on a clinic.
