Good question, maybe it is a great location like in the Budweiser beer truck.
If he doesn't want the room he could just cancel his reservation. I wonder how much he is selling the room for. I've never heard of scalping a hotel room before.

Don't be penurious, donate to the BP Spring Dr.
Some rooms are prepaid and cannot be changed/canceled. Maybe he actually is just scalping the room. I imagine alot of Texas people would love to have that room.
Come to think of it, I should have gotten a room in the Detroit area and scalped it for the Super Bowl.:osu:

Nope not scalping the rooms. Just cant use them now. And yes they are at the Holiday Inn.
