Help on Buckeye History and Windows

cincibuck

You kids stay off my lawn!
1. I need some historical information on the 65 and 66 Buckeyes. The old sites I have used have been FUBARed by alien forces and are now useless. Anyone know where I can get my data?

2. I need to put Greek letters (fraternity/sorority) in the middle of a word document and can't get anywhere in tools or font. Anyone know how to do it?

Thanks, Cincibuck

Can you explain more about what 65/66 data you need and what you mean by "in between"
do you mean as a background or simply
words
Greek letters
words
In this case try to get the words saved as a picture and then paste it in.

1. Won/loss records, line ups, schedule.

2. I'm writing a novel about college life in the 60's and I need to put greek letters into some of the episodes... as in PDT doesn't get it for Phi Delta Theta... so the letters need to match or approximate Times New Roman 12 font.

Historical Records

This link might help with some of your OSU data. Interesting stuff in Excel spreadsheets. Not sure where you can locate old rosters though.

Adding Greek Letters to Word Documents - Tech-Recipes.com

This link should help with your greek letters in word problem.

1. OK, I got the most important information... W/L and I can fake it from there until I can get to the library and go through some old newspapers.

Thanks.

2. Tech - recipes claims to know nothing about greek letters or alphabet. Damn, can't be that hard.

Hummm, this is what the link says:

Often it is needed to add Greek letters/symbols to microsoft word documents. These can be accessed through the symbol font.

1. Select Insert from the top menu
2. Select Symbol from this menu
3. Select Symbol from the font drop down
4. Select the Greek letter you wish to insert.

Basically the same suggestion that Saw offered ... and worked. :)

If all you really need is W/L type info, then try online sites like:

http://www.cfbdatawarehouse.com/index.php

http://football.stassen.com/

They'll have everything you need, are easy to navigate/search and you don't need to open up some database/spreadsheet program.
