Help needed with strange IE problem

iambrutus

Screw Blue
  • i produce a custom software package that is very basic. it's a menu box that contains links to other software installed (insurance) keeps people from cluttering their desktops. it also contains a link to our secure website. i have two offices (of course the two biggest MVP's) that when they click on the link to the secure site, it opens over and over. If they open IE and enter the address it works fine, it also works fine when they have a shortcut on their desktop. i have had them run every spyware tool available, and nothing. the thing that throws me off is its only two offices and i can't reproduce the problem here.

    any suggestions?

When you say "opens over and over" do you mean that it just starts opening cascading windows of the same thing?

    edited to clarify

yes, i mean that it opens 30+ windows all connecting to the website (doesn't get all of the way in b/c they have to enter userid & pswd)

    Just tell them it's due to a new I D 10 T error...

lol no seriously.. you'd almost have to take a look at those PCs themselves... if all the systems do it, then it's either malware (virus or spyware) or a software package which causes the problems.
