Have You Ever Been "In the Zone"?

Taosman

Your Cousin In New Mexxico
Ron Lewis was "In the Zone" ,today. It's that special place where you feel
"god-like", "invincible" and you can do no wrong.

Most people have had some glimpse, if not multiple experiences of such.
For me it was one basketball game where, being guarded by some one taller,
every thing went in that I tossed up, from anywhere.

It was skiing like a ski god, jumping off boulders, through trees, over ice, around groups of people. Unstoppable.

It was driving across the length of Pennsylvania at 80-90, in the rain. In a
Mitsu Eclipse AWD Turbo. I was Parnelli Jones and Jackie "The Flying Scot"
Stewart, rolled into trip.

It was riding a skinny tired bicycle down a steep hill at 45 mph. In a crouch!

Get the idea?

I held a pool table in a bar against all comers for about three hours . . . even though I'm nothing special as a pool player . . . or as any other kind of athlete as evidenced by the example of being in the zone I chose.

Same here. I had a night in Darts about 5 years ago wher I just couldn't miss. I opened 5 of 8 games with a white horse. (trip20, trip19, trip18) played 5 games that night of 301, with 9 dart outs.
