The Most Power-Drunk
Ok, here's the deal. I was a touch inebriated last Thursday, so I got onto ebay, and somehow ended up buying a Harley. Oops. Now, don't get me wrong, I got a fantastic deal...but it isn't exactly the bike I would have picked for myself. However, because the bike is so cheap, I can afford to trick it out a little, and make it the bike I want. So here is my question:

Is there anyone here that has ever done any work on choppers or motorcycles? I think the only big thing I want to do to this bike is rake out the front end, but I'm looking for recommendations on where to take it, plus guesses on what kind of a price tag I'm looking at.

I should also add that I don't want a chopper...I'm talking about a front end like a Wide Glide (for those familiar with Harleys). Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?

Oh, wrong Harley. Sounds like you really fucked up on this one man. Good luck.

No, I didn't fuck up. I got a Harley Low Rider with custom exhaust, pegs, handles, and a shitload of chrome for $4500. It's not my fault the guy didn't put a reserve on the thing. I just want to rake out the front end, and perhaps have it painted. Maybe some tires, but I won't know about that until I see them. So, all I need to do is find someone who can rake out the front end for a decent price. Or so I keep telling myself...

I know a guy in Lancaster that does some of that on the side. He actually works for a dealer but makes a little cash on the side. He does good work, but doesn't take on too many jobs. I can call him if you'd like.

That would be outstanding. I actually live in Pickerington, so that isn't even very far. If you would be so kind as to call him, I would greatly appreciate it. Just PM me or whatever. Thanks again.
