When did it become proper for a doctor to issue you a Handicapped parking sticker just because you're a giant fat ass and can't walk?? You'd think the doctor community would want these butter tubs to walk as far as possible for their health.

These are the same people who walk into the store under their own power, with a 5 pound bag of coupons, smoking and and eating a Big Mac, and grab a power cart to ride around inside the grocery store.

i nearly got into a fight with a guy once in the BestBuy parking lot when he parked in the handicapped parking spot and jogged into the store. he said that he could park there because his handicapped mother was in the car - but she STAYED in the car. We were held apart by several people. this kind of shit really pisses me off.

I used a handicap stall in the bathroom once... when I came out I noticed I had a ticket on my shoe.

Did it look like this?

Legally, he is allowed to do that. I know.........a shame.

I had a teacher in 9th grade that had handicap tags. She was in perfect health, and was probably 25(If that) years old. I asked her why she had handicap tags and why she was parking in the handicap spot, which was right up front center of the lot. Her response, "Oh last year I worked as a driver for the disabled, and that I was issued those plates for that purpose". She said that she has the plates, so why not use them.

So your teachers exhibited ethical dualism early in your academic career?

What was her course - Civics?

I have known a couple of people who had handicap stickers in their cars that were for anothe rperson and honestly didn't see the problem with using it for themselves. They somehow reasoned that it was associated with the car and since the car was authorized for the space everything was cool.

I also recall when I was in the service the handicapped spaces at the O club were not as close as the parking for Generals. I always found that quite profound.

That is so damn true.

I often wonder if the lard ass riding in the motorized cart is genuinely handicapped or just to damn lazy to walk. I don't say that to sound coldhearted as I'm sure there are those who truly need to use the cart but I can't help but wonder how many others use them that should be exercising.
