Guitar Hero 2 Out Today for the 360

Most stores are selling it today, some people were lucky enough to get it from Circuit City last weekend. I'll be picking it up after work, have only played the PS2 version a few times but it looks addicting. It looks to have improved graphics and a different guitar than the PS2 version as well as 10 new songs. GH2 will have several downloadable songs, as well as the option to download Guitar Hero 1 songs and other songs in the future (Halo theme). I just wish the guitar was wireless like they said at first but oh well. Will give impressions tomorrow if anyone's interested.

If I were the people that make that game I would have every song every made available for download like itunes. It would be cool if the game could analyze a song that you rip to your xbox and let you play it.

yea, agree

make the game like a jukebox and since the 360 and the ps3 are all about online, download tabs for the game and play whatever songs you want.. you could make it so anyone could upload the tabs

Played it for about 2-3 hours after I got off work, my fingers went numb. Wow this game is addicting, favorite songs so far have to be Message in a Bottle and Jessica. I'm only into the fifth group of songs though.

what level do you guys play on?

I am still relatively new to this franchise, so I play on medium and still find it to be kind of hard at times. I've tried hard and expert once and was completely overwhelmed. I have no idea how anyone plays on that level. Hitting the orange button is hard for me to do!

I just play on medium, I'm almost done with all of the songs but I haven't 5-starred anything yet. It seems like it will be impossible to play on hard and expert, even on medium my pinky finger is retarded and doesn't move as fast as the other fingers. I've put about 5 hours into this game so far and the tips of my fingers (the ones hitting the notes) are numb, very fun though, I keep telling myself (and wife), just one more song, ok just one more, alright seriously this is the last one....and so on.

you guys keep playing it that much it wont be hard to play on the harder levels, i play on hard (but i'll be honest, i don't like the game that much.. its fun but gets boring for me) my roomates are addicted and 5 star experts now, but it took them a month or 2 to get to that point.. learn the hammer pulls if you havn't yet

I picked up GH2 for my 360 yesterday and put about an hour into it last night. This is the first time I've ever played a GH game and I've go to say this game rocks. I stared playing on medium difficulty and the first few songs I had a really hard time with and couldn't time my notes correctly. But I slowly caught on and was doing okay after about an hour. I can see how this game would be nearly impossible at the expert level (for me at least) and I'm sure medium will keep my old slow fingers challenged for hours. I also was concerned about cover bands playing most of the songs but they did an outstanding job on most of the tracks.

Rock and Roll!!!! :banger:

I've never played it. I can't understand buying another accessory just to play a game. And the game sounds incredibly retarded. You push buttons and pretend to strum a guitar in the right order.

Someone tell me what's so great about it. What am I missing?

(And don't tell me I'm missing great songs. I get to hear great songs without the game.)
