Eggsampull
Bleeds Scarlet.... and Gray
Hi there, everyone.
I'm trying to get a laptop for my birthday/graduation (going to OSU, BTW) for about $1,300 or less and I was wondering if any tech-heads could evaluate the custom laptop that I want to order from HP or if they could let me know where I could find a better one for about the same price. I suppose I should tell everyone what I primarily want in said notebook, not including software needs, I'll take care of that in due time...
1) I want it to be a PC, I don't have anything against MACs, I just need a PC for now
2) Preferrably 2 GB of RAM
3) 120 GB HDD
4) Decent Processor, a little above average I suppose
5) Decent Gfx card as well
6) About 5 hour battery length
7) All of the other basic essentials
Here's the Custom Laptop that I wish to order:
Go to HP.com, click on Notebooks, then click on 15.4" in the size category on the left side of the screen, then select the dv6000z, then click Customize, then select the following options:
OS = Vista Premium
Processor = AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core TL-60(2.0GHz/1MB)
Display = The only option, duh
GFX= 256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7200
Personalization= HP Imprint Finish + Microphone
Memory = 40% off upgrade from 1GB (2 Dimm) to 2GB (2 Dimm)!
HDD = 120GB
CD/DVD drive = FREE Upgrade: 8X DVD+/-R/RW w/Double Layer Support
Networking = 802.11a/b/g WLAN and Bluetooth
TV Tuner = Yes
Primary Battery = 12 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
No Software
1 Yr. Warranty
