USA comes from behind to beat the Mexicans 2-1 and earn a berth in the confederations cup in 09. Didn't get a chance to see the game but it sounded like the US did a great job coming back in the 2nd half.

what a great game!
This is a pretty good US team right now. All around great effort the whole Tournament. I love beating Mexico and the USMNT has done a pretty damn good job of that the last decade. The U.S. Soccer Federation put all of the eggs into the Gold Cup and mission accomplished! Now we get the berth into the confederations cup in 09 which will really prepare the team for the '10 World Cup. Great day for US Soccer.
Now we get to see some young guys try to perform in Copa America against some real solid teams. Not much is expected as far as winning this tournament, but it will be good to see some players try to make a name.
