Excellent saves at each end in the closing minutes of this match with the US up 1-0.
Not much new to report from this one. Holden still looks good, and the only thing more annoying than the play of Brian Ching is the way announcer Max Bretos speaks in a Hispanic accent for any Spanish word or name, but in a regular American accent for everything else. Inexplicably, he also pronounces "Bob Bradley" in a Spanish accent.
As I type, Cooper adds a second goal in the 90th minute assure their spot in the final. Assist from Holden. Cooper has looked really good in the last two matches coming off the bench. He has been the anti-Ching.

Nice on the boys to battle. They may not be the 1st teamers, but this team is still exciting and they play tough.
Mexico just beat Costa Rica 5-4 on PK's after a 1-1 draw for 120 minutes. Costa Rica scored about 3 minutes into stoppage time to send it into OT.
So it's the classic USA/Mexico matchup on Sunday. Can't wait.
