Saw this on EDSBS and had to post it here. This happened during the Maryland - NC State game yesterday:

Evidently this was like another call in the NFL in the late 80's:

I was watching that NFL game. That was a pretty famous call at the time. Ref mikes were fairly new, as was ESPN; so the combination made this call a pretty hot topic for a couple of weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if that ref decided to work that old line into a game just to amuse himself.
