Gameday Crew's teams on "Upset Alert"...guess what?

Just watched the halftime of USM/UAB, and the Gameday Crew did teams on "upset alert" this weekend:

Herbie: NW over Michigan State
Corso: Indiana over Ohio State

I'm sorry, but that's just a freaking dumb pick, Ohio State fan or not...I think Corso is drinking the IU Koolaid again.

Corso said we're on the road, Indiana can throw the ball and our offense is struggling, so "watch out". I don't think he went as far as saying IU was going to win, just that they've got a shot. Herbie said there will be more OSU fans than IU fans there tommorow so this isn't even a road game, then they both started laughing and moved on. He also said we'd beat Texas and Penn State so take it for what its worth..

Lee Corso is a great comentator, I like that guy. Him and Herbie make gameday the best show on ESPN.

Corso's funny...pre-season he picked Ohio State winning the NC over LSU while Kirk went with the Bucks over USC. Obviously those expectations haven't been fulfilled but just because we have two losses doesn't mean anyone should be picking Indiana over us. While I understand that's why we play the games and there are no gimmes in the Big 10, still. Our two losses are against Texas, who in my opinion will be undefeated with a NC this year (since they luckily slipped by us, with their weak Big Twelve schedule nobody's going to beat them). And a Penn State team who on that night two weeks ago nobody could've beat them. They had the crowd they had the desire. They were undefeated against a very good team comin into their house for them to make a statement about where they want the program to go. Everything was falling into place for them. It was just their night. It's just funny how opinions change. Gotta love college football...
