The 2012 schedule for UNC & OSU is rather challenging already, so take it FWIW:
Scout.com: Ohio State series

Weren't there rumors about OSU trying to get out of the Cal series?

That was rumored to be so Ohio State could play Alabama in a "Kick-off Classic" type event. Even though the poster says it's a H/A, could we be playing in the Chick-Fil-A kick off against UNC down in Atlanta?

It's typically an SEC-ACC event, but I'm sure the organizers would salivate at the opportunity to draw Ohio State.

Personally, I'd be all for it if we flip Cal out. We don't recruit California very much anymore, but increasing our exposure in the South could pay off in the long run.

This guy's story seems legitimate.

Scout.com: Look who's on my flight to Paris

Bonjour from Paris. As some of you may know, I am a flight attendant for US Airways. I worked the Saturday night flight from Charlotte to Paris. I was in the Envoy (Business Class)cabin and turned around and to my surprise, there was Coach Davis and his wife and son. I've had a lot of well known celebrities on flights. Never have I been as excited! What an amazing man and family! He was so kind and engaging. This made my night. I walked away from that flight feeling very positive about Carolina football. And YES, I asked questions. Thanks, Coach, for being a class act and being a great ambassador for the Tar Heels.

CU negotiating with Ohio State for 2011 football game
Buffs would likely receive $2 million for Big Ten road game

Right now Dan Hawkins needs to focus on finishing strong in the Big 12 in order to be given the opportunity to coach Colorado in the Pac-12.

However, Buffs fans might soon be able to look ahead to an exciting matchup with a noteworthy Big Ten foe.

Sources have told the Camera that CU officials are on the verge of adding Ohio State to the 2011 schedule. If the proposed deal is finalized, the Buckeyes would host the Buffs in Columbus next fall.

CU would receive a payout in the neighborhood if $2 million for traveling to the Horseshoe. Ohio State would not make a return trip to Boulder.

During a recent conversation with boosters in Texas, CU athletic director Mike Bohn said he was negotiating with a Big Ten school to be added to the 2011 non-conference slate. The Buffs are scheduled to play Cal at Folsom Field next season, but that will likely be a Pac-12 conference game if CU is able to leave the Big 12 after the 2010 season.

According to sources from both schools, the proposed Ohio State-CU football deal could also include an agreement to play a men's basketball series.

Loving this! My two favorite college football teams playing will be awesome!

I agree with Taos in that they are coming for the money as their athletic program is in tough shape. But I am dreaming of a day where OSU and CU sign a series and OSU would play at Folsom with the front range in the twilight.
