Friday’s are a day for cutting loose and letting people know what you think. It’s no different around here and it just so happens Ohio State is a hot topic as well as athletic directors.

Staff Slights
Ken – Friday the 13th, eh? Goodbye to U of Missouri’s President Tim Wolfe and University of Illinois’ AD Mike Thomas this week. Men in responsible positions not being very responsible. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, guys.
Scott – There are some Ohio State football fans who are being ridiculous with their complaints of Cardale Jones. Yes, the offense seems a step slower. But dude has not lost a game as a starter. Is J.T. a better option? Most definitely. But Jones is a big reason OSU is what it is. Let’s not lose sight of that.
JC – OSU at #3 in CFP Rankings? I don’t get it. How is a defending National Champion – also undefeated, dethroned? But that’s OK! Remember last year guys? Also the Tim Wolfe @ Missouri “crisis” – The POWER of the People – great message. Do the right thing and you won’t be knocked off the pedestal… Amazing the French Revolution hasn’t taught us all a lesson. Also lest we forget the False Prophet in Ann Arbor – Jimbo – criticizing the coaching abilities of the coaching staff for the 49ers …. what is up with this egomaniac? He is the lone savior of programs? Good decision Jimbo on the punt against MSU!
Michael – Ohio State being dropped in the AP Poll. Never should a undefeated defending National champion should drop in the polls.
WVa – I struggle with the national media for the most part and had to spend a lot of time un-following and blocking several on Thursday. Included in that group were a few of the “local” stations who felt it was necessary to throw J.T. Barrett under the bus for doing something that every one of them has probably done in their lives; plead their case so they wouldn’t get a ticket.
I am honestly disappointed that this is even an issue in a society that sees celebrities get out of legal issues because of their status in the world. I think J.T. handled the situation perfectly and took the time to be very cordial to the officers. It is ridiculous to me that the organizations in or around Columbus didn’t take their own direction with the story and give J.T. a voice, but they would prefer to have the scoop if it’s ending badly for the school they are paid to cover.
