Free Subsription to Rival's "BSB"

My one and only expenditure for Ohio State information is that of Buckeye Sports Bulletin (BSB). No, not the online site - but rather their print publication that is offered about 30 times a year. It's the dean of it's kind and is always about 40-80 pages of small typeface, stat-stuffed Buckeye content. The Phil Steele of Ohio State periodicals, if you will. My newest edition of BSB came in the mail today and, on page 3, was a free trial offer for a 2 month Premium Subscription to their online site.

Now, free trial offers aren't all that uncommon for Rivals and their network of sites but this is a little different. Aside from trials usually being only a month long, apparently BSB's editor, Mark Rea, is a little perturbed with their subscriber ranking in comparison to the entire network. He should. Currently, they are #22 out of 400 which sounds heroic but in actuality is pretty terrible considering a team and fan base like Ohio State. Their main counterpart BuckNuts is in the Top 5 of subscriptions in the Scout network (or so I've been told). Perhaps they just do a better job of pimping their site or maybe it has to do with quality of online content?

Nevertheless, if you're thinking BSB online will tickle your fancy, Mark would love to hear from you. You only need to send your name, address and valid email to Mr. Rea at:
[email protected]
or
PO Box 12453
Columbus, Oh 43212
Happy free-trial subscribing!
