Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
1. On last month's vacation the American Airline in-flight magazine there was an add for a free Super Max Ultimate 3 disposable razor. I got one. Actually I got two. I had one mailed to my mother's address too. It wasn't all that bad. It was free. On this month's trip I noticed that the add is still running. If you want a free razor go to http://www.supermaxworld.com/us/index.php?action=questionnaire
Note: To eliminate potential SPAM I gave them a fake email address and I did not check that I wanted any of their future email special offers.

2. Some times I buy a sports book (real cheap at a library sell-off or thrift store) to read while on vacation. This time I read "Under the Tarnished Dome", a hardback book pictured below. It was pretty good. It bashed both Lou Holtz and Notre Dame. I was about Lou's entire coaching career and how Notre Dame sold out it's principles (players on steroids, doing drugs, getting arrested, getting into fights, and having poor academics that otherwise could not have gotten into ND, etc.) to have a winning football team. Apparently all the bad stuff (treats players bad, will sacrifice a players health for a win, treats assistant coaches bad, cheats, and lies, etc.) that you may have heard about Holtz is all true. The book names names, events, and the sources of their information. It was printed in 1993.

There was a funny Ohio State/Woody reference: Lou was an assistant defensive coach in the 1968 Ohio State National Championship team. In the Rose Bowl. Before the Rose Bowl Woody grabbed (to get everyone's attention) Holtz and told him to make sure OJ Simpson doesn't score a touchdown against the Buckeyes. At halftime Woody asked Holtz "why did OJ run 80 yards for a score in the first half". Hotlz replied "Because that's all the farther he had to go".

I will mail within the US (cheapest "untraceable" means possible, since it is at my expense) to anyone that would like it. The only stipulation is that you then mail it to another BP member that wants to read it too. If you are the first person to respond to this post just PM me your address. When finished with the book you can contact the next person expressing an interest in reading it. If nobody else responds then just pitch it.
