I made my fiance buy a steamer/rice cooker with our housewarming party haul. She didn't want a toaster either, but I took care of that. She's complaining that we have too many appliances now. She just doesn't understand how the appliances complete me. I don't know if I'll be able to talk her into the queen mother of appliances, the bread maker. Here's to hoping.
