The Predators traded winger Scottie Upshall, defenceman Ryan Parent, a first round pick and a third round pick to the Philadelphia Flyers for Peter Forsberg.

looks like foppa went from a personal fav to a hated sob in my book...
i can deal with the wings...i just cant stand the predators...

Seriously though, I hope Ken Holland trades for a physical power forward type. Detroit did ok against Dallas, but I'm afraid more games like the Philly game are in the offing unless Detroit gets a bit less soft.

its a nickname for the last name forsberg (sweedish name), its just like a nickname. many though say its like puck wizard, but its not its just a term of endearment for forsberg (hypocrsty or whatever the word is)

his family is the first family of hockey in sweden, his father is former manager of modo and the national team

one of my fav hockey players and part of the lindros to flyers deal that built the nordiques/aves teams
