You bred raptors?
Ok so I've just begun downloading torrents, and my dilemma is that for some reason or another when I try to import them into Final Cut Pro there is no audio track. Does anyone know why this is? Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is this some sort of glitch with the torrent file/the program?

Anyways, just wondering, so I can get a start on this years highlight tape!!

Ah so sorry, I realize this is completley the wrong thread for this type of question, but like everyone says, I thought I'd get the most looks here!!

But seriously anyone have any suggestions for me here? Final Cut Pro?

Go to the Apple discussions forum, or any other Apple forums. I doubt anyone here uses Final Cut Pro. Besides...it's like $1,300 anyway!

Apple's Official Final Cut Forum

Macnn.com is the place I go to if I have any questions regarding anything mac related. Here's the link to their applications forum:

Hope that helps. Final Cut might be like using a nuclear warhead to exterminate a termite colony. iMovie HD works great for highlight reel clips. Shit, Final Cut Pro is what movie studios use to edit and produce feature films!

Which torrent file did you download - the Texas game for instance, and which author - timBuck2 for instance.
What was the observed format before trying to monkey around with it in Final Cut (Pro, Overkill , or other)?
Mostly folks here around will either:

Play the movie as is on their PC (if it is a DivX file or similar), OR
Take the file direct to DVD (preferred option with timBuck2's work).

If it is timBuck2's work that you are trying to import into Final Cut it may not recognize correctly that you are trying to move files from an .ISO volume containing .VOB files. As I recall Final Cut wants to see explicit audio and video streams, in the .VOB files these will be conflated.
