Fantasy Football: Who Do I Start?

CookyPuss

Screw Blue
I haven't seen a "Who Do I Start?" thread on here. I think its always fun to see other people's fantasy teams and share in their dilemmas. Anyways, I have WR receiver issues going into a playoff game with the #1 team in my league and will take any advice you have. I'd also like to invite anyone else with line up questions to post them here and I (and hopefully others) can throw in our 2 cents. It helps if you give your league scoring.

My issue this week is at WR. I need to start 3:
Javon Walker at AZ
Michael Furrey at GB
Santana Moss at NO
Donte Stallworth at NYG
Chris Henry at INDY
1 pt per 10 yds, 6 pts per TD

Which 3 would you start and why?

I'd start whom I considered the best 3, because that would give me the best chance to move on to the next round. And, so, I would basically say, "Who have I started all year to get me in this poistion" And I'd start those same guys.

Fantasy playoffs. Don't overmanage the situation. You got to the playoffs by playing your studs (or whomever) there's no reason to go changing up now. Yeah, you might lose. Not a whole lot you can do about it. But, how the hell is anyone supposed to know if Michael Furrey is going to go off or not? Did he help you get to the POs? Then start him. Has he been riding the bench? Then sit his ass down.

I'm in my league's playoffs. I have made exactly 2 moves this entire year, and presently have on my roster two guys who are IR. Why don't I go pick up someone? Here's why? I don't need a new scab to ride my bench. Joe Horn didn't play last week, so I played Marcus Robinson. A great solution? Nope. But, there isn't a whole lot I can do about it (especially when the FA pool has a bunch of shitty dudes that - and here's the important part - aren't already on someone's roster. I don't know... this late in the year, you're not going to make improvements by picking thru the FA pool (unless you're in a league with people who are idiots))

Anyway, don't over think this shit. Go with what got you there.

Thanks for the advice. Moss and Walker should have been no-brainers but I don't trust their new QBs. Every time I start Henry he does squat, every time he is on my bench he scores a TD. I'll figure it out by sunday.
