With 9 players out for Turkey with either suspension or injury, I think the late game magic and Cinderella story end with Deutschland.

Germany has played so well in this tournament so far, Turkey with the late winners has been entertaining as well.

However, the German defense and midfield is very good. The Turks will have their hands full with Klose and Podolski at the forward position and Ballack leading the midfield will really keep things in check.

Germany just needs to play solid football, no bad turnovers in their third, no bad fouls, and fundamentals will carry them through this. I do think they will win it all, and I believe they'll beat Spain to do it.

I can't say much about Turkey, the accumulated yellows have hurt them, and injuries to some of their top players, including Nihat who had two late winning goals, have really put them at a disadvantage. The fact that they made it this far is incredible for them though.

Good luck to both teams. Let us please see some entertaining football and decent refereeing. Spain v. Italy was almost not worth watching it was so boring. Until the pk's.

Turkey just hit the crossbar (drilled from about 10 yards out), and a minute later missed the left side of the goal by a yard.

No score in the 15th minute, but Germany doesn't look sharp early.

Germany looks shocked early on. Playing bogged down in the midfield.

They need only to weather the strom.
