E-mail gripes

• Some cynics wonder if ESPN has given short shrift to the National Hockey League since it currently has no working relationship with the league. "That doesn't factor into how we cover the news," Williamson said. "We've been very aggressive in our coverage since the new agreement -- and in covering the news leading up to its signing." Still, the perception exists among some viewers that if ESPN does not have broadcast rights to a league, that league won't get its due. At least, ESPN knows this perception exists and understands its responsibility.

• Poker fans don't like to see results of taped competition on crawls prior to the showing of the event.

• Soccer fans are still cranky over lack of Gold Cup coverage.

• The Ultimate Frisbee lobby is cranky over everything.

• The lacrosse lobby is cranky over the Ultimate Frisbee lobby.

• And Ohio State football fans know how to e-mail.

Also, to e-mailers of the ombudsman, the volume of e-mails prevents me from responding to you personally, but your comments and suggestions are much appreciated.

Crazybuck hit the nail on the head, you would think they could actually show the wide variety of sports that exist outside of Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Hockey instead of some ass clown like Stephen A Smith pretending he knows what he's talking about for a half hour at a time. Lacrosse can be exciting and if you ever went to college you have to show Ultimate Frisbee a little love. Personally I would rather watch a Bridge Tournament than some asshole bullshitting about sports.

I actually believe that the lineup goes like this.

SCenter for 15 hours. Replaying the same stupid thing over and over.
Usually when will Bonds play, who is on roids, Ricky WIlliams, ARod, TO, and Randy Moss. All the stupid shit that I don't give a damn about.

Then they have 1st and ten, pti, around the horn, Rome is burning, and now quite frankly. What do they all talk about. See what was on scenter.

The station shows nothing but talk shows. It is like day time fucking drama. It might as well be called "as the sports world turns" host Jerry Springer.
