DT Johnathan "Big Hank" Hankins (Seattle Seahawks)

This will get interesting as I believe scUM was his favorite

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Will he go with his original favorite, UM? The hottest team, UF? The early offer from a powerhouse, OSU?

It will also be interesting to see whether there's any fallout from the explanations for why UM didn't offer Hankins in the first place... supposedly they thought he was too fat, lazy, out of shape to handle the rigorous Barwis S&C program.

With their needs on defense, I didn't think they could afford to be picky, and even a part-time player would be a big addition for them.

Rule #1 in recruiting, go where they want you the most. Rule #2, go where you feel the most comfortable. I think OSU ranks high in both categories. Distance could be a factor. Florida is a long way from Detroit. UM coming in late won't help their cause IMO. Good luck JH!

He's going to Michigan if they really push hard and put on the full court press from here on out IMO.

We need DL's, especially big space eaters in the middle for that hybrid defense that Greg Robinson is trying to install.
