If you get a message to upgrade to QuickTime 7.2 don't.

    It's a mess.

I don't see ANY banners here at BP anymore (like the ones at the top and right hand side of the screen on the forum page), ESPNMotion no longer works and neither does YouTube.

If anyone has a fix, please help...

Here is what I have done so far....

I uninstalled and reinstalled Quicktime 7.2. Of course this didn't work.

I went on the web and found a Quicktime alternative which didn't work either.

I've uninstalled QuickTime entirely. I still don't see the ads here on BP, Youtube still doesn't work, and better yet, I get the following:

    quicktimefuckedup.jpg

    Which is completely understandable.

The problem is, I can find quite a few people asking about this issue, but virtually no one coming up with any answers.

System Restore to pre-Quicktime update. This should take care of it.

    Well that kind of worked....

Now isntead of getting the Quicktime errors I can't get Firefox to come up at all.

The program eats up more and more memory until it hits about 400K or so, and then it stops and sits there.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox fixes this next problem.

    Thanks!!!!!
