The inconvenient truth has cast its spell on the NBA as the league descends upon Las Vegas this weekend for the NBA All-Star Game.
The years of condemnation over the gambling and how it would never become an NBA city have slowly given way to a warming that now makes it more likely that a franchise could end up there after all — and perhaps sooner than later.

I never understood the whole gambling being the reason not to have pro sports in Vegas thing. Hell these days Vegas would like to have a pro team to give the city one more thing for people to do while they are there. It seems that there are enough bookies out there that you can put money on sports pretty much anywhere.

That's the problem with having a team in Vegas. There's so much going on....who would go to a game? Especially since 90% of the population at any given time is from some place else just there on vacation.

NBA in Vegas = CFB in Miami, Fl

could not agree more, you can also look at LA, there teams have the same issue
