DJ Am found dead in his apartment yesterday

He survived a plane crash, along with Travis Barker of Blink 182, last year. He was suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome and "survivors guilt" and recently broke up with his long term girlfriend. "Drug paraphernalia" was found in his apartment when police broke in and found his body. No further details. Wow. It's a badddd year to be famous.

Yeah, I know. I just had to say it. :wink2:

I Googled him a couple of hours ago when I saw he died. Honestly had never heard of him, or if I did I quickly forgot him. I haven't spent much time in NY or LA clubs in recent years.

Neither have I really, but he has a lot of online stuff. The collaborative work he did with Travis Barker was very exciting.

I heard the reason that he may have started using again is the fact he couldnt get off the pain medication from the airplane crash, felt guilt over survivng the crash while he watched friends die, post traumatic stress, and he just broke up with his girlfriend last week.

Sad if he did resort back to drugs.
