He plays special teams, and I think he played a few snaps in garbage time.

I can't see what would have happened to him. I've seen him this year on the kickoff/special teams alot like he was last year. During the spring he was listed as the #2 Right CB, now he's not in the 2-deep. He comes over to Beechcroft every once in a while, i'll have to ask him what going on over at OSU.

In Welch's recruiting thread, 44280 notes that Welch has been in Coach Tressel's doghouse this year, but should see more time in the second half of the season.

there are plenty of players who don't break the law that have not done their part to earn the privilege of PT, I'm sure JT knows what he is doing. I've seen SirJo out there a decent amount in coverage, not all the time, but he hasn't been benched all year. Whitner is also a gunner that we use more this year (he was hurt a lot in 04).

I just think its more of higher talent/better players around him, if it wasn't for a talented freshman we have in there, he might be in more often.
