DE Kenyatta Jackson (National Champion)

I tuned into ESPNU last night to watch Jackson's last game with Chaminade in Arizona against their state champs. He is very quick off the snap and is a hard hitter. Unfortunately for me I am a YTTV subscriber so my screen blacked out at halftime (thanks, Disney) and I missed a dominant effort by Jackson and his team in the 2nd half.

Here's how it ended (@ :55, DE Kenyatta Jackson #2 and CB Ryan Turner #6) :

Chaminade Madonna and Highland extend their State Championship seasons one game longer to compete in the GEICO State Champions Bowl Series at Bishop Gorman High School, in Las Vegas, NV!

He didn't even try to crack the depth chart. I don't get these kind of transfers.

Like you're in line to see playing time next year after sitting and now you bolt?

Totally understand if you're a junior or senior and can't get on the field but this confuses me.

This is going to be the reality in the new landscape. If these higher rated kids don’t crack decent playing time after a year or two they are going to transfer out to somewhere that will give them “assured” playing time.

He's from south Florida, and the U is the probable landing spot. Money is most likely a thing.

OSU only rewards proven players, which may be our achilles heel.
