REDSHIRT JUNIOR SAFETY JARROD BARNES TRANSFERS FROM LOUISVILLE TO OHIO STATE
Jarrod Barnes grew up in Central Ohio before leaving his home state to pursue a football career.
Thursday, he decided to return home.
According to Barnes' Instagram, the Louisville safety has decided to transfer to Ohio State. Hailing from Westerville, Barnes completed his undergraduate degree this spring after redshirting as a walk-on in 2012, so he is set to have two years of eligibility remaining per NCAA rules. After much thought and prayer I have decided to leave the University of Louisville Football program and transfer to The Ohio State University as a Graduate student-athlete. I want to sincerely thank all of my friends, teammates and coaches for supporting me throughout my career at Louisville. I would not be where I am today without you. I am excited to officially be a part of the Ohio State football family and proud to be a buckeye
