"Daddy Stabbed Mommy In The Back"

5-Year-Old Alerts Police About Stabbing

State police pulled the car over Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 79 in Franklin Township, Greene County. The driver, 28-year-old Joshua McClelland, was arrested for DUI.McClelland had two small kids in the car and said he had just come from his wife's house in Bruceton Mills, W. Va. That's when the suspect's 5-year-old son in the back seat pointed to a bloody knife on the floor and said, "See that knife. Daddy stabbed mommy in the back."

Snitches get Stiches, beside little kids. Serves the dad right

Hell yeah, I hope that piece of shit gets the needle, the chair, whatever. It's bad enough to do harm to another human being like that, it's that much worse to involve young kids.

Snitches get stiches? What does that mean methomps?? His five year old should've had ol' dad's back after stabbing mom?

he was being sarcastic. but the reality is, if your gonna open your mouth about something. be damned sure your doing it to someone who both can and will do something about it. especially if your a kid. the "snitches get stitches" line is amusing yes. but as a 5 yr old try telling a family member you can't stay the night cause you have to protect mommy from daddy because daddy hits mommy. then watch in horror as the family member passes on the "hilarious" story to daddy about what you said. fun times!

Yeah, I knew it was sarcastic, just didn't see the humor.

I doubt a 5 year old knows who to "tell" to and who not to. Obviously he made the right decision here in telling the police officer.

you tell who you trust. though getting it wrong goes well beyond a simple learning experience. having lived through similar, i see the humor. but i completely understand where you are coming from.

hopefully he did make the right decision. but that will depend largely on how long dad goes to jail and whether or not he gets visitation rights after he gets out. or assuming he doesn't, whether or not mommy dearest is intelligent enough to keep dad at a safe distance. time will tell, but those are odds i wouldn't play.
