DEBuckeye

It ain't easy, bein' cheesy.
I didn't see this posted anywhere else...

Did anyone else see the sign, held up behind Herbie during Gameday, that said "Corso loves c**k"? It actually had a heart for the "loves" part and a drawing for the "c**k" part, but it was unmistakable. They left it in the shot for a good minute or so.

I didn't see it. Wish I had though. I can NOT stand that man.

During the Iawo/Ohio State game did anyone hear the 'nice pick Corso' chant? Amused me for about an hour after the game. lol

Lee Corso is more of an "entertainer" than a "football expert". I'm sure he makes his picks based on ESPN's anticipated crowd reaction and/or if the head of the mascot is available for him to put on (which makers a great "sound bite"). If he actually knew anything about football he would still be coaching (i.e. Corso's record was 41-68-2 over his ten years at Indiana). He'll even pick the Buckeyes if it will help ESPN's ratings:

It almost looks like it's on a dry erase board which would explain how they got it through the sign checkers. Not sure on that though.

...because of course you don't actually need to know anything about football to get a Div 1A head coaching gig in the first place (Indiana nonwithstanding).

The two are not mutually exclusive. :)

Corso's still a clown though.
