Contender final: Peter versus Sergio

Any thoughts? Sergio has taken out the better competition in my view (except for Gomez...he was really good) and I think he can "out-quick" Manfredo, so I think Sergio is going to win...though he's basically beaten big, strong, knockout-like fighters so far, which could work to Peter's advantage...it should be a good fight Tuesday.

Sergio was sharp tonight, but I think Jesse was out of gas on only 3 days rest.

Peter is more of a puncher than Sergio, but the "Latin Snake" proved he has a solid chin tonight...Jesse landed some solid shots late.

Anyway, I agree that Sergio is the favorite going in, but I like Peter as the underdog. I'll take Pete in a split decision.

OH8, any chance of a vBet?

That was a good fight.

Not the best fight that I've ever seen though, That would have to be Arturo Gatti-Mickey Ward( The first fight). I still haven't seen a fight as good as that nor do I think that I ever will again.

that was a good fight, the undercard was pretty good too. i really like Alfonzo up until the last 10 seconds of that fight, what a dick. when he raised his hands like that, i was hoping that jessie would knock him out.

i have enjoyed this show. the only change i would make is to take out all speaking lines for sly stalone, that man cannot speak

I think they should go with heavyweights if they do decide to do another one though.
Are you kidding me SIMV?

Heavyweights are much more boring to watch than the lighter fighters.

Most of the best fights of all time are all from smaller, quicker fighters. The lighter guys also seem to do much less clutching in the ring.

Hey, S&G, have you ever seen the first Alexis Arguello - Aaron Pryor fight? ('82 I think) If not, check it out.
