Bear with me...


I'll preface this post because it's more about last saturday than it is this week. Mainly because I really only watched bits and pieces of the Miami game until rewatching the DVR just now. Yes, I have some serious sadistic issues. I'm taking medication. And seeing a therapist. Not really.

I committed last Saturday to a golf event, got drunk , tried watching the game at the bar in the clubhouse until a buddy got us kicked out. (sparty fan pissed about the ND game). After sobering up and following along online via iPhone... finishing the night off watching the end of the 3rd to the end of the game from some charity poker room in the back of a bowling alley lemme just say it fucking sucked.

On to my observation after rewatching...sober. sorta.

1) sometimes the ball just doesn't bounce your way...on sept 17th it certainly didn't bounce the Bucks way.

2) the Defense is not 2002 good but they played awfully well and certainly well enough for the game to still be winnable.

3) the special teams WOW!! no complaints BB was awesome!

4) the offense...well we ran the ball pretty damn good. Kudos to the backs and especially the o line.

5) I'm over it.

This team is young but, very talented and talented enough to still have a special year. The seniors are going to lead, the youngins are going to step up and coach Fick is gonna lead them to another B1G title.

Alright, so much for being cautiously optimistic.

I was having the same feeling... clicked over thinking it 10.5 or 11.5... but two touchdowns? Yikes... the vGreed in me says get back what I lost last year, but... can this team put up more than two touchdowns at all?

The offense should be able to run at will. The only question is will they be able to punch it in once they get into the red zone. I expect maybe one or two breakaway touchdown runs and maybe a special teams TD. The Buffs are no slouches on offense though, they may have some success moving the ball.
