College Fantasy Football

BuckeyeNation27

Former FF The Deuce Champ
Hey everybody,
I was halfway through setting this up to do it myself (keep track of stats, conduct the draft,...) when I saw that cbssportsline.com has a free game engine for it. So now I'm trying to drum up some competition.

Who wants to play some fantasy football with college players? I've created a league that includes players from all the BCS conferences (minus the Big Least and no Independants.....eat that Notre Dame). All you need is a free cbssportsline.com account and some free time at 8:30 PM on Sunday the 14th.

As always I'm open to being called a homo and also to changing league details like draft time and Conferences to draft from.

So who wants in? Grad21 already told me that he's a pussy....so he's out. Here's a link to the game: http://collegefb.sportsline.com/splash/collegefb/spln/single?refcode=sbx-ncaaf_cfb05_1

Here's a link to the league: Buckeye Planet

I think the sportsline version doesn't use actual players. Rather they use USC QB's, tOSU RBs, Cal WRs, etc.
that's true. (just checked it)

If you guys would rather have a REAL draft where you pick players instead of team positions then let me know and I'll see if I can throw it all together. We would have to do an online draft through either AIM or mIRC (unless we can get the BP chat client to work). We also wouldn't be able to track things online....you would have to trust me :sneaky:

Count me in. Then I can say that I kicked your sorry ass in two different leagues. Oh, sorry, I guess that would be "Carly Patterson's Ass".

Oh, but what an ass it is...

Guys, the draft time is extremely flexible. What's good for everyone? A week night? Early weekend? late weekend?

Also, I still don't know if everybody wants to use this format or use one like regular fantasy football (just not supported online). Let your voice be heard!

I would be okay with using this, but would prefer to use the actual names of the players. I am fine with an IRC or IM client draft. If that is unworkable, we can all deal with the names thing.

Personally, I am good for weeknights and anytime on the weekend, day or night.

Thanks for figuring this out. . .
