it would be the first decent movie by ESPN after slaughtering their multiple attempts thus far. It's a tall task to ruin a plot like this, but I would not put it past them.

Well you know, if its one thing ESPN is good at...its writing about scandals. Or in this case, making a movie about it.

I actually thought they did a good job on Junction Boys.

This movie actually has some actors I've seen before! The one that came to mind right away is this guy...

The movie that I remember him from is Starship Troopers.

I loved the average halftime speech, where a few guys sort of groaned back on their way out of the lockerroom... and the rest were completely unmoved by the speech.

I'm watching this movie again right now and this may be a stupid question but...

The assistant coach at Army in the movie...Coach Lombardi, is that Vince Lombardi? Just wondering because the character player playing him in the movie looks just like him(With the look of his glasses and the way he dresses).

Yes it's Him. Lombardi was an assistant coach at West Point. O-Line I think. Is this movie worth watching? The only ESPN movie I've enjoyed so far has been that Pete Rose movie, and I only liked it for the unintentional comedic value :biggrin:

I think it is worth watching. I missed the last 30 minutes of it the first time it was shown. So I'm watching it again. I think its a good movie. I had never heard about the scandal at West Point before this movie. From what I've seen, it really doesn't seem like it goes into complete detail(Like the Pete Rose movie did) of everything that happened there. I don't know, maybe it is and there isn't a lot to it. But it just seems like a summary/overview of what happened.

I have liked all the ESPN movies they have made dispite my dislike of ESPN...

The Dale Earnhardt(sp?) Movie
Pete Rose Story
4 Minute Mile
Plus others I'm forgetting

And now Codebreakers.

If you like the previous ESPN movies, then its most likely you'll like this one too.

Well I guess it is cool you liked them movies, but at least tell me you thought that Bobby Knight movie sucked.

The only one I thought was ok was Junction boys. Didnt get to watch this one tonite, but they will replay it ten million times so I am sure I will be able to catch it once.
