Child Rescued From Inside Locked Safe

It was a frightening night for one family after their child was locked inside a safe at the Lowes store in Miamisburg.
A mother shopping in the store reported three children missing after they didn't come back from the bathroom. Store employees called 911 and began searching for the kids. That's when they discovered the two-year-old girl locked inside a four foot safe.
Employees could not open the safe right away due to a protective time lock. The child was safely removed after about a half hour.
"My daughter actually was playing with one of those safes a few weeks ago, and I was like, see what can happen. You stay away from those," said Tonya Bell, another customer who was in the store at the time.
It is still unclear how the child got inside the safe.
