Chad Anderson (UK) from Canton Mckinley

Remember Chad Anderson a few years back...I think he was related to Antonio Hall. He wasn't that highly recruited coming out of Mckinley...looks like he was doing pretty well for UK.....



LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky linebacker Chad Anderson has left the team and withdrawn from school, coach Rich Brooks said.

Anderson, a 6-2, 250-pound senior, had been suspended indefinitely from the team for academic reasons and wasn't participating in spring practice. As a sophomore, Anderson had 125 tackles, and his 11.4 per-game average led the Southeastern Conference. Anderson lost his starting job midway through last season -- even though he led the team in tackles at that point -- and finished the season with 44 tackles. He ends his Kentucky career with 11 starts in 27 games.

That's great to hear, and good for him. You always like to see some of these not so highly rated recruites by these "experts" go on to have a great career.

I think the post pretty much sums up why he wasn't that highly recruited. Academics. If I recall correctly, he was compared in a positive light to Katzenmoyer in terms of athleticism.
